Spring Reading Thing 2010

It’s time for another favorite reading challenge!  Katrina at Callapidder Days is hosting the 2010 Spring Reading Thing. I LOVE this challenge as it’s so laid-back and we’re able to change our lists if needed.  Katrina also encourages us to set reading goals if we want.

Now that the first quarter of 2010 is almost over (!!), I’m realizing I’m a bit behind schedule with reading my own books and reaching my goal of 144 books read in 2010.  I’m going to change things up a bit this time and INCREASE the number of books I want to read for this challenge.  My list will contain my unread, purchased books and library books.  Here’s what I want to accomplish by the end of this challenge:

  9. So Long, Insecurity – Beth Moore
  10. The Diva Paints the Town – Krista Davis
  11. The Diva Takes the Cake – Krista Davis
  12. The Love of Her Life – Harriet Evans

Cozy Mystery Challenge 2010

Kris from Not Enough Books is hosting the Cozy Mystery Challenge.  Challenge starts April 1st and ends September 30th.  The rules are simple:

  1. Read at least 6 cozy mysteries, one for each month. You can choose to read more, but you must read 6 in order to complete this challenge. You don’t have to read 1 each month, you can read them whenever you like, you just have to read at least six.
  2. While you can overlap with other challenges, please try to have at least 2 of the books only count towards this challenge.

Participants who complete the challenge will receive a bookmark made by Kris.

I love cozy mysteries!  I plan to read at least 6, but may try to read more as I have plenty of cozy mystery series I would like to start.

My list:

  1. The Diva Takes the Cake – Krista Davis
  2. The Diva Paints the Town – Krista Davis
  3. Dead Air – Mary Kennedy
  4. Bundle of Trouble – Diana Orgain
  5. Motherhood is Murder – Diana Orgain
  6. Sleeping Anemone – Kate Collins
