RYOB Challenge 2010

In 2010, I want most of my reading to come from my shelves.  Jenn’s Read Your Own Books Challenge for 2010 is perfect for me.  I’m going to aim high and say I will read 75 books that I own.

Read Your Own Books Challenge

MizB is hosting the Read-Your-Own-Books Challenge “RYOB”.

The rules for this challenge are very simple…

* set a goal for how many of your OWN books you’d like to read in 2009

* read from your own collection between January 1st and December 31st, 2009

I wanted to join this challenge to help motivate me to read the books I own. At one time, I was so excited to purchase them, but for some reason that excitement faded. Now I have a collection of unread books just sitting on my bookshelves. I would like to clear a shelf or two after completing this challenge (and not to mention it will help ease the guilt of buying new books in 2009!) My goal is to read 25.

My List:

  1. Time of My Life – Allison Winn Scotch [review]
  2. Shoots to Kill – Kate Collins [review]
  3. Move On, Move Up – Paula White [review]
